      Most popular wedding rituals

      • Album
      • Sand Ritual

SSometimes refered to as the Unity Sand Ritual -were the couple will have individual vessels with sand (which can be from their favourite beach) or coloured sand. The couple take it in turns to layer the sand in a glass container representing the union of them both -separation joining and combining as one.

      • Handfasting Ritual

Handfasting is a beautiful and symbolic ritual that has been used for centuries to signify a couple's commitment to one another. It is thought that it originates from Celtic traditions. The saying "tying the knot" comes from. Very popular with couples and is often included in ceremonies.

      • Wine Box Ritual

The couple will have a bottle of their favourite wine and will store it in a box that is sealed -it will be kept and opened on a special occasion eg the birth of a child -or a special wedding anniversary. A keep sake that can bring back memories of a very special day,,,especially if you like a glass of wine!!

      • Unity Candles

A very popular piece within a wedding ceremony-were the couple light an individual candle at the beginning of the ceremony to denote two individual people. After they have said their vows they will take the flame from both individula candles and light the centre candle denoting their union.

      • Ring Warming Ritual

The Rings that are to used in the ceremony are passed around the bridal party or family to hold for just a moment- warming and adding love and strength to the rings just before the rings are exchanged between the happy couple.

      • Guests Promise to the Couple

This is also popular as it involves the guests. The couple have been making their promises to each other so it is always uplifting to ask the guests to support and guide you both in life ....to a resounding WE WILL!
